Adria Airways Begins Construction on Third Hangar

The Slovenia-based airline must create the additional hangar in order to support its maintenance division. During the first six months of 2007, the airline’s maintenance center generated 64 percent more earnings compared to the same period last year. Adria re-signed contracts with all of its 18 current partners and acquired 11 new customers for CRJ and A320 maintenance, including My Air, Air One and China United. “This success is of course the fruit of excellent work on the part of all personnel in the aircraft maintenance division,” stated Adria President Tadej Tufek.  Construction on the hangar will begin this fall.
