BBA, Hawker Beechcraft Close Deal

Wichita, Kan.-based Hawker Beechcraft Corp. (HBC) has finalized the sale of its fuel and line service operations to BBA Aviation. According to HBC, the transaction allows Hawker Beechcraft Services (HBS) to focus on its core businesses of maintenance, repair, modifications and avionics, and invest in its existing service center network. The agreement comprises fuel and line operations at seven U.S. locations. HBS will retain its maintenance and customer support facilities at those locations, as well as in Little Rock, Ark., Chester, England and Toluca, Mexico.
