PiperJet Launch Platform for G3000

Piper Aircraft was selected as launch customer for Garmin's new G3000 avionics suite for installation in PiperJet turbine aircraft, the companies announced Tuesday at NBAA in Orlando.

The touch-screen operated G3000, designed for Part 23 turbine aircraft, was unveiled Monday at NBAA. The heart of the system is the GTC 570 vehicle management system, a 5.7-inch controller which uses a desktop-like menu interface with intuitive icons, according to Garmin.
