IDO Security Announces First Sale of MagShoe in US

NEW YORK, July 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IDO Security, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IDOI), developer of the innovative MagShoe(TM) "shoes-on" weapons metal detection system, today announced its first customer in the US through its regional distribution partner, Bryant Integrated Technologies (http://www.bryantintegrated.com). The customer is one of the world's largest commercial cruise lines, which will use MagShoe on its ships to significantly reduce passenger waiting lines while improving security -- especially in high-pressure situations like re-boarding from a port of call in time for departure.

MagShoe addresses a key vulnerability in walkthrough metal detectors and other screening technologies, which stop just above the ankles when scanning for concealed weapons. The portable, user-friendly device extends metal detection to include the lower extremities, covering everything from four inches above the ankles to the bottoms of the feet -- without requiring passengers to remove their shoes, thanks to a patented "step-in" design.
