Apple Vacations Announces New Non-Stops From Lansing to Cancun on USA3000 Airlines

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Apple Vacations today announced new non-stop service to Cancun on USA3000 Airlines from Lansing Capital Region International Airport. The program operates December 27, 2009 through April 4, 2010 and features convenient Sunday mid-afternoon departures and returns. Apple Vacations, the world’s largest vacation company to Mexico, is the first and only company to offer air service to Cancun from Lansing. Prices start at just $699.99 for 7 nights in late January including round-trip airfare, airport/hotel transfers, hotel accommodations based on double occupancy, hotel taxes and hotel baggage handling. All-inclusive vacations start at just $999.99, and include the above, plus all meals, drinks, entertainment, non-motorized watersports and gratuities.

Mark Noennig, Vice President and General Manager of Apple Vacations, made the announcement at a press conference held on July 1 at the Lansing Capital Region International Airport. “We are very excited about our new non-stop service from Lansing to Cancun. This is a great alternative for Midwesterners who prefer the convenience of plentiful, inexpensive airport parking, hassle-free check-in and security, and fast and easy baggage claim. Apple Vacations looks forward to working with the Lansing Airport Authority to promote this new service, which will enhance the city’s regional economy and increase tourism to Mexico. It’s a win-win for all.”

The maximum parking cost for a week in Lansing is only $42.50, versus $76 at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. For a limited time, travelers can go to www.flyLansing.com to print a coupon, saving an additional 50%. The airport opened a brand new U.S. Customs Inspection Station in late May.

Apple Vacations offers a choice of over 100 hotels and all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and neighboring Riviera Maya. Upon arrival in Cancun, Representatives meet vacationers at the airport and escort them to their hotel transfers. Resort Representatives host welcome briefings and are available daily at most hotels during scheduled desk hours.

USA3000 Airlines, the flagship carrier of Apple Vacations, operates a fleet of state-of-the-art Airbus A320 aircraft. The airline features free movies/headsets, free soft drinks, and one checked bag per person at no charge. Snack boxes are available. The airline was recently voted among the “Ten Best Domestic Airlines” by readers of Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler.
