(Bovespa: TAMM4 and NYSE: TAM) and Swiss International Air Lines, a member of
the Star Alliance, signed a Memorandum of Understanding aiming to establish
arrangements for cooperation to expand benefits offered to their passengers.
The partnership involves the implementation of a codeshare agreement and the
development of strategies for greater integration of TAM's Programa Fidelidade
for frequent flyers with Miles & More.

and Swiss air networks, offering greater benefits to our customers through the
provision of better services. In doing this, we hope to stimulate an increase
in passenger traffic for both airlines," said Paulo Castello Branco, TAM's
Vice President for Planning and Alliances.
"Swiss is proud to start very soon a new cooperation with TAM Airlines,"
said Harry Hohmeister, Chief Network and Distribution Officer of Swiss
International Air Lines. The agreement between the two companies should be
implemented over the course of the second half of this year.
