ANNAPOLIS, Md.,
Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a
leading provider of global intelligence and business resiliency services,
concluded 2007 with continued momentum and innovation, introducing significant
enhancements to products, launching new services, and establishing key
partnerships.
"We are pleased with the progress and advancements we made throughout the
year, and we anticipate continued growth in 2008 as clients are increasingly
called upon to proactively address business continuity issues," said Steve
Hoffman, iJET's CEO. "We look forward to building upon our successes and
momentum through 2008 and beyond."
New and Expanded Products and Services
iJET launched several enhancements and a new service available through its
Worldcue(R) Global Control Center, the first integrated platform to relate
global operating risks to organizations' people and assets around the world:
Worldcue(R) Airline Monitor
Launched in the summer of 2007, iJET's new Worldcue Airline Monitor is an
extension of its Travel Risk Management solution. The Worldcue Airline
Monitor allows organizations to further minimize their travelers' exposure
to risk by notifying travel managers of trips booked on airline carriers
that do not meet minimum standards of operational safety. iJET's
intelligence team and transportation experts monitor and analyze
information on more than 300 airlines, including large commercial
passenger airlines and a number of smaller and charter passenger carriers,
to determine risk ratings.
Worldcue(R) Asset Risk Management
Providing multinational organizations with global visibility into how
events affect their facilities, supply chain assets and people, iJET's
Worldcue Asset Risk Management solution was enhanced to extend
notifications to multiple stakeholders; create audit trails for asset
exposure reviews; and ensure that key business continuity preparedness
plans are up to date and readily accessible to decision-makers.
Worldcue(R) Expatriate Risk Management
iJET announced significant enhancements to its Worldcue Expatriate Risk
Management solution, improving the ability of organizations to find and
communicate with their expatriates and families -- whether at their
assigned work location or on travel.
Partnership Momentum
Contributing to the company's success in 2007, iJET announced a new
product partnership and continued to build on relationships with key partners
in the travel industry.
In July, iJET signed a partnership agreement with Send Word Now, a leading
provider of on-demand alerting and response services, to better protect
clients' employees during time-sensitive situations. iJET is integrating Send
Word Now's Alert Service and global communications platform into its Worldcue
platform. The integrated solution will provide clients with enhanced emergency
notification options such as two-way SMS, voice and text messaging
capabilities.
In its second year of partnership, iJET provided clients of Carlson
Wagonlit Travel (CWT), the world's leading travel management company, with an
enhanced travel risk management offering, including tools designed to monitor
risk, prepare and help protect corporate travelers and respond to emergencies
24x7. iJET also continued its relationship with the National Business Travel
Association (NBTA), the leading association for corporate travel
professionals. The NBTA Foundation incorporated iJET's Travel Risk Management
Maturity Model(TM) (TRM3(TM)) into its Managed Travel Index(R) (MTI) &
Benchmarking Tool.
Additional Areas of Growth
In response to iJET's momentum in 2007, the company made a number of
additions to its leadership team, naming Hoffman, a veteran technology leader,
as CEO; Kelly Davis-Stoudt as CFO; and Kathie Lia as Vice President of Travel
Partnerships.
iJET also launched a successful educational program in 2007, creating its
Executive Webinar series, designed to help travel, security and risk
executives build and maintain effective corporate risk management and
continuity programs. The first Webinar was based on iJET's proprietary Travel
Risk Management Maturity Model. Later in the year, iJET hosted a successful
Webinar addressing the unique security climate faced by businesses operating
in the Niger Delta, Nigeria's epicenter for oil and gas production.
In October, iJET was named to Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for
Maryland, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media,
telecommunications and life sciences companies by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 recognizes significant growth over the
five-year span from 2002-2006, and acknowledges companies for their
considerable use and development of proprietary technology. A rank of 10 in
the Maryland Fast 50 places iJET among a prestigious group of businesses that
are setting the standard for growth and success in the technology industry.
