Rotorcraft Report: Dart Named Distributor for Spectrolab

PRODUCTS

Dart Helicopter Services (DHS) of Piney Flats, Tenn. has been named as an authorized distributor of Spectrolab’s popular line of illumination products. Sylar, Calif.-based Spectrolab, a subsidiary of Boeing, manufactures the Nightsun SX-5, SX-6, SX-16 and XP searchlights used aboard many commercial, military and public service helicopters.

"We’re always looking for better ways to serve our customers worldwide," said Greg Campbell, Spectrolab’s vice president of illumination products, referring to DHS’s 15 locations around the world. "This agreement with Dart expands our reach to benefit existing and new clients."

DHS, along with its subsidiaries Apical Industries, Canam, Geneva Aviation and affiliate DART Aerospace, owns 450 supplemental type certificates and manufactures more than 500 products that it distributes to customers in more than 120 countries.
