Keystone Helicopter has won approval to certify modifications to specific rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft for the
FAA. The
Sikorsky Aircraft subsidiary said it had received organization designation approval (ODA) after demonstrating to the
FAA that it "has the expertise, facilities, experience, and qualified employees to issue supplemental type certificates." That will speed approval of helicopter mods it does for customers. Air Methods' Products Div. also recently received ODA approval from the FAA.
