Ireland Sees Corporate Helo Sell-Off

So reports The Independent newspaper there. The most immediate indication of the sell-off, it says, is postponement of the Irish HeliExpo. Event organizers confirm that show, which had been slated for Oct. 1-3 in Ireland’s Punchestown Exhibition Center, has been put off to June 2010. The reason The Independent cites is the downturn of Ireland’s real estate market, which has “Irish businessmen and property developers selling their helicopters to cut costs or even having them re-possessed by financial institutions.” For related news
