Sikorsky Aerospace Services will provide aerial refueling capabilities for 13 U.S. Air Force H-60 helicopters by supplying the military with the fuel probe assemblies. According to Sikorsky, “there is great potential for follow-on kits.” The $2-million contract for in-flight refueling capabilities will not only increase range, but also expand mission time for the utility helos. The assemblies are built to lead-time so there are not on back order and will be produced in the company’s overhaul and repair facility in Shelton, Conn.
