Lockheed Martin ATM: Belger, Vice President
Monte Belger, a former senior executive and acting deputy administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has been named vice president, Transportation Systems Solutions, for Lockheed Martin Air Traffic Management. He will head the company’s expansion into broader transportation markets, focusing particularly on aviation management solutions and intermodal transportation inititatives. Raytheon ISR: Perryman, Lead Executive
Maj. Gen. Gerald Perryman, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), has joined Raytheon as lead executive of the company’s Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) strategic business area team. He formerly was assistant deputy chief of staff for Warfighting Integration, at U.S. Air Force Headquarters, where he helped create a strategy for an integrated command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) architecture. Honeywell Aerospace: Birtcil, Vice President
William Birtcil has been named vice president of communications for Honeywell Aerospace, replacing Dennis Signorovitch, who retired after 25 years with the company. Prior to his employment at Honeywell, Birtcil spent 12 years at The Pillsbury Co. and was vice president of corporate affairs and executive director of The Pillsbury Company Foundation. Edwin Gaines has joined Alternative Avionics as manager of outside sales. He leaves Garrett Aviation, where he was regional avionics sales manager. He also has been employed by Global/Wulfsberg, AlliedSignal and Airshow, and was an F-106 fire control technician with the U.S. Air Force. The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has named Bryan Fitch as its new technical services manager. He came to NATA from Gemini Air Cargo, where he was a flight engineer. He also served as maintenance technician and flight engineer with the U.S. Air Force and continues in that role, in the Air Force Reserves, aboard Lockheed C-141 Starlifter cargo aircraft.
