AeroVironment Wins Army UAV Contract

AeroVironment Corp., Monrovia, Calif., won a $5.3 million contract from the U.S. Army to provide the RQ-11 small unmanned aircraft system, known as the Raven, and initial spares packages. Work will be performed in Simi Valley, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 15, 2007.
