Lockheed Martin Awarded $1 Billion Training Deal

The U.S. Air Force awarded a $1.07 billion contract to Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training and Support, for a program that supports aircrew training for special operations forces and combat search and rescue. Lockheed Martin will provide training, as well as hardware, software and courses to instruct special operations forces and soldiers in combat search and rescue missions. Lockheed is expected to complete the work by June 2017.
