Boeing subsidiary Jeppesen said Russia-based cargo carrier Volga-Dnepr Airlines signed a contract for its e-Link services, a ground-based system that gives airline personnel access to charts, NOTAMs and data via the Internet, or via a locally installed program. Financial terms were not disclosed. Jeppesen, Englewood, Colo., will supply information for more than 950 locations. “This next stage is intended to further develop prompt delivery of air navigation information to Volga-Dnepr’s away-from-base aircraft operating flights in all of the world’s regions,” said Sergey Dyachkov, general director, Volga-Dnepr Airlines.
