Rockwell Collins will supply its Pro Line Fusion avionics suite for Bombardier’s Learjet 85, the companies announced Monday. The announcement came from the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed. This selection marks Bombardier’s second selection of Pro Line Fusion. In October 2007, it was announced that Pro Line Fusion would make its official debut on Bombardier’s Global family of aircraft. Standard features on the Learjet 85 aircraft’s flight deck include: three high resolution 15-inch diagonal LCD displays; synthetic-enhanced Vision; graphical flight planning capability; Integrated Flight Information Systems with electronic charts; dual flight management systems; electronic checklists linked to the engine indicating and crew alerting system.
