All Nippon Airways (ANA) will use Rockwell Collins’ Dispatch Program for its fleet of Boeing 787s, under a contract announced Friday. The program is scheduled to begin upon delivery of the first Boeing 787 to ANA. The 10-year fixed price per flight hour agreement provides guaranteed dispatch levels through spares management, logistical support and component reliability improvements for Rockwell Collins’ suite of displays, communication, surveillance and pilot control systems, Rockwell Collins said. The company said its Dispatch Program provides total life cycle support by ensuring service levels with reduced operational risk at a predictive cost, by providing spares ownership, logistical support and reliability upgrades.
