navAero added a new central processing unit (CPU) to its t-Bag C22 electronic flight bag (EFB). The company said the Intel Core 2 Duo 1.5 GHZ processor adds expanded features to the EFB, including memory capability up to 2Gbm, a 128GB solid state drive or an 500GB sealed rotary drive. It offers an easy upgrade path with no change required in all existing STCs, according to the company. The company said the CPU supports its commercialized EFB components and options – WLAN 802.11b/g module, ARINC 429 5-channel module, UMTS/HSDPA/3G and EDGE/GPRS/2G module, CDMA/CDMA EV-DO and the t-Pad displays.
