Panasonic Avionics Corp., of Lake Forest, Calif., signed an agreement with China Southern Airlines to supply its eX2 in-flight entertainment system on five A380-800s. First deliveries are slated to begin in 2009, Panasonic said. The system includes audio and video on demand and interactive entertainment options. Panasonic earlier announced deals to supply the airline’s forthcoming Boeing 787s, and has supplied its S3000i system on China Southern Airlines’ A330-300 since 1993.
