Avionics display provider Barco received an order from Highland Integrated Surveillance Systems Inc. (HISS), based in Toronto, Canada, for its MDU-268 avionics-grade mission display units. The units will be installed aboard 30 helicopters for a customer in the Middle East. Within the scope of this program, Barco’s MDU-268 displays will be combined with an RN6 Digital Map Generator from EuroAvionics. The MDU-268 is equipped with a 6×8 inch display, a wide viewing angle of 80° in all directions, and is DO-178B and DO-254 certified.
