Air China Limited has selected Rockwell Collins to provide its MultiScan hazard detection system, GLU-925 Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR) and a suite of sensors for 20 new Airbus A330s. Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2011.
Other products chosen by Air China include: ADF-900 Automatic Direction Finder, DME-900 Distance Measuring Equipment, HFS-900D High Frequency Communication System, CPL-920D Coupling Unit, LRA-900 Low-range Radio Altimeter, RAA-700 Radio Altimeter Antenna, VHF-2100 Very High Frequency Transceiver, VOR-900 Marker Beacon Receiver, and GNA-925 Global Navigation Antenna.
This year, Air China signed a 10-year maintenance agreement with Collins Aviation Maintenance Services Shanghai Ltd. (CAMSS), a Rockwell Collins joint venture with China Eastern Airlines, to provide service and support for Rockwell Collins equipment on the entire Air China fleet.
