Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has selected Rockwell Collins to provide its dPAVES in-flight entertainment (IFE) system for 31 of its Boeing 737NGs. Deliveries will begin in this year.

dPAVES narrow-body IFE system includes the Broadcast Digital Server (BDS), offering 160 gigabyte storage capability, integrated pre-recorded announcements and music (PRAM) functionality and embedded Airshow Moving Map – all in a single 4 MCU box. The large storage capability of the BDS allows for multiple play periods of entertainment content, and the server automatically selects the new content when the new play period starts. Other features of the system include scalable architecture; route specific content; plug-and-play line replaceable units; Airshow Moving Map; and Airshow Configuration Editor.
