Rockwell Collins was selected by Jet Aviation Basel to install its Venue High Definition (HD) Cabin Management System (CMS) on an Airbus A319 CJ with an option of two further aircraft. This announcement marks the first installation of Venue on narrow body corporate jet platforms, the company said Monday.
In addition, the system was selected by Tenencia Aerospace Design for installation on its Boeing B757 corporate jet.
"We continue to expand the opportunities for business jet passengers to enjoy a Venue cabin, regardless of the size of their aircraft," said Tommy Dodson, vice president and general manager, Cabin Systems for Rockwell Collins. "The installation of Venue on a narrow body platform is made possible through the addition of new Venue capabilities specifically designed to meet the requirements of a larger cabin."
Jet Aviation will be the launch customer for Rockwell Collins new Venue High Definition (HD) Cabin Management System for Airbus A319.
