ITT Corp. was awarded a follow-on $37 million contract for full-rate production of the AN/ALQ-211 Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite (AIDEWS), an integrated situational awareness and self-protection system to be installed on Special Operations Army MH-47 and MH-60 helicopters. Under this contract, ITT will deliver 25 systems, along with spares and related components, to Army Special Operations during the next three years.
This award is a part of a $300 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract that was awarded to ITT in 2008 by the U.S. Special Operations Technology Applications Program Office, Fort Eustis, Va. The systems will be built in Clifton, N.J.
