Rockwell Collins has established new office locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to support growing opportunities in the Middle East, the company announced Tuesday at International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) in Abu Dhabi.
"Our office openings in the region support the strong demand for many of our solutions in the Middle East, including advanced communications, avionics for manned and unmanned aircraft, and mobile solutions for border security,” stated Yves Gallety, managing director, Middle East for Rockwell Collins.
The new offices, which opened in February, house Rockwell Collins’ business development functions and will quickly expand to include program management, systems engineering and related support activities for customers in the region.
“We have ambitious plans to play a larger role in the Middle East through a strong local presence, strategic partnerships and increased investment in the region,” said Greg Churchill, executive vice president, International & Service Solutions for Rockwell Collins.
The Abu Dhabi and Dubai expansion efforts follow the opening Rockwell Collins’ Paris-based headquarters for is operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa; and a new China System Support Center in Shanghai. Additional office openings in other locations are planned later this year.
