Brazilian airline GOL Transportes Aereos signed a five-year OnPoint services contract for Boeing 737NGs with GE Aviation. The agreement covers repair services and logistics for all systems provided by GE including various avionics, flight management, instruments and hydraulic systems for the B737NG aircraft operated by GOL.
Last month the company announced that GE Aviation’s Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) Services was selected by GOL to support Required Navigation Performance (RNP) flight procedures in Brazil. “GOL selected GE for this services agreement because of its successful track record of quality repair services throughout the world,” said Viggo Thisted, GOL’s new technologies project manager.
