Boeing subsidiary Insitu, based in Bingen, Wash., was awarded an $83.7 million contract from the U.S. Navy for operations and maintenance services in support government-owned ScanEagle unmanned aerial systems (UAS), including: multiple training courses ranging from system pilot training, maintenance and operations, mission coordinator and payload operator; multiple kits for sustainment, payload and engine module kits; and multiple spare parts for ScanEagle UAS. Work will be performed in Bingen, Wash., and is expected to be completed in May 2012, the Navy said.
