Rockwell Collins’ Pro Line Fusion avionics system is now available to turboprops and light jet aircraft, the company announced Wednesday.
“Until now, no one has been able to deliver the feature-rich capabilities, robust architecture and enhanced safety that Pro Line Fusion brings to this class of aircraft,” said Greg Irmen, Rockwell Collin’s vice president and general manager.
Features of the system include touch-control primary flight displays, integrated head-up synthetic vision and autonomous backup flight control modes. Additional features include MultiScan weather threat detection and full integration with Ascent flight information solutions.
The software was certified in June on the Bombardier Global 6000 long-range business aircraft, according to Rockwell Collins. The system has been selected for 11 announced aircraft platforms across business aviation, commercial air transport and military market segments. More
