Simulator manufacturer CAE said Monday a Hawker Beechcraft King Air 350 full-flight simulator with Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 avionics has been qualified by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) in Australia.
The simulator, which is located in Melbourne, is now available for pilot training, following Level D qualification by CASA of a new CAE 5000 Series full-flight simulator (FFS). Montreal-based CAE said this is its first business aviation training location in Australia.
Training is conducted at the Ansett Flight Training Center, located near the Tullamarine International Airport in Melbourne.
