Eurolot S.A. will deploy the Flightman Class I Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) software on its fleet of Bombardier and ATR aircraft.
The Flightman EFB includes the eJourney Log, Electronic Flight Folder, Large Content Manager, eReports, Business Intelligence and eTechlog applications and will enable Eurolot aircraft to connect to back office systems.
“In order to optimize our operational processes, we require software with excellent operational flexibility. Flightman’s EFB software is very flexible and adaptable to our organization. It meets our strategic andtechnical requirements to improve our existing operations and achieve significant cost savings,” said Mariusz DÃâ¦browski, president of Eurolot S.A.
Flightman officials said its EFB gives Eurolot the ability to exchange data on and off the aircraft via cellular communications.
The two companies did not say when Eurolot plans on deploying the system on the aircraft.
“We are excited to be delivering our enterprise class EFB solution to Eurolot. As more airlines start to achieve the cost savings promised by EFB technology, they are looking for a flexible solution that can grow over time to encompass more of the operational processes around the aircraft,” said Joe McGoldrick, CEO of Flightman.
