Kazakhstan-based Air Astana will feature a number of Rockwell Collins avionics upgrades on a fleet of new Airbus A320/321 aircraft later this year.
The airline selected the GLU-925 Multi Mode Receivers (GLU-925 MMR), which will allow its operators to use Required Navigation Performance (RNP)/Area Navigation (RNAV) and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) capabilities.
Rockwell Collins said the aircraft will be delivered to Air Astana equipped with the GLU-925 MMRs—and a number of other advanced avionics components—beginning in November.
