The University of Utah AirMed program has selected the Becker Avionics DVCS6100 digital audio system for its new EC145 air medical helicopter.
Becker said the AirMed program selected its multi-channel audio and intercom system because of its ability to manage all audio sources on the EC145. According to Becker, its DVCS6100 manages all helicopter audio sources on one central eight-channel system that features a new radio relaycapability.
"We are pleased that our DVCS6100 was chosen for AirMed’s new EC145. The EC145 is a very capable and proven machine, and with the addition of our advanced digital airborne audio management system, it will enhance the customer’s operational capability,” said Brett Gardner, director of sales and marketing at Becker Avionics.
