Aero Dynamix received an STC for its night vision goggles (NVG) cockpit upgrade on the Agusta Westland AW-139 helicopter.

The first AW-139 with the NVG upgrades was delivered to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the first of three AW-139s that will receive the NVG upgrades. Aero Dynamix expects to complete the remaining NVG upgrades over the next 18 months.
The NVG upgrades incorporates internal night vision imaging system (NVIS) modifications to Honeywell digital flight displays and are designed to optimize NVG performance for exceptional nighttime and daylight readability, according to the company.
