In-flight connectivity provider Gogo has launched its next generation ATG-4 network on Delta Air Lines, US Airways and Virgin America aircraft.

ATG-4 delivers a peak speed of 9.8Mbps, tripling the peak speed of the previous air-to-ground network, and features the addition of directional antennas, dual modems and the deployment of EV-DO Rev. B technology on Gogo’s airborne and ground networks, the company said.
