AMETEK has acquired Aero Components International and AvTech Avionics as it looks to expand its presence in providing aerospace aftermarket parts and service. Financial terms of the two transactions were not disclosed.
Both Aero Components International and Avtech Avionics are located in Miami, near AMETEK’s aerospace MRO facility. ACI specializes in repairing aircraft fuel and power generation components, and AvTech manufactures next generation avionics systems.
“Both of the acquired businesses extend our portfolio of MRO services with ACI adding fuel repair capabilities and Avtech broadening ourexpertise in next generation avionics,” said Frank S. Hermance, chairman and CEO of AMETEK.
