Aftermarket aircraft modifications provider Jettech was awarded a FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) to install the updated G600 cockpit display system on legacy Cessna Citation 560 model aircraft.
Jettech founder Rob Irwin said the new modification will increase traffic collision avoidance systems, digital weather radar, and satellite weather radar for Cessna 560 pilots.
The Glass Panel retrofit retains the existing RVSM system for the aircraft, allowing Jettech’s Air Data Interface Unit (AIU) to be displayed on the pilot and co-pilot sides of the cockpit.
“Additional major equipment upgrades are included in the installation,” Irwin said. “These upgrades include replacing the existing Iron Vertical and Horizontal Gyros with advanced solid state Attitude Heading Referencing System (AHRS).” More
