BAE Systems has a new agreement with cabin connectivity and lighting solutions provider EMTEQ to collaborate on the development of IntelliCabin, an integrated
cabin management system designed for commercial aircraft.
Intellicabin, currently in development, provides cabin lighting control, passenger address, attendant control, aircraft seat power and control, aircraft cabin power management, and in-flight entertainment delivery and control.
“By joining forces with EMTEQ, an innovator of lighting solutions and cabin connectivity, we will be able to present a highly integrated ‘cabin of the future’ to the industry,” said Ehtisham Siddiqui, vice president and general manager of commercial aircraft solutions at BAE Systems.
