AeroVironment on Wednesday announced a new "Teaming Agreement" with Indian aerospace engineering firm Dynamatic to begin manufacturing unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in India.
Under the agreement, AeroVironment and Dynamatic will begin to pursue potential UAS customers, including India’s ministry of defense and ministry of home affairs.
“This teaming agreement is a key component of AeroVironment’s continued international growth,” said Roy Minson, senior vice president and general manager of AeroVironment’s UAS business segment.
The two companies announced the agreement during the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International’s (AUVSI) Unmanned Systems 2013 conference.
