The new joint venture, ACCEL (Tianjin) Flight Simulation Co., will create a “simulation and training center of excellence in China,” Rockwell Collins said in a statement. ACCEL will be located at Tianjin Airport Economic Area, and will use CORE Simulation Architecture technology and visual systems for flight training.

“It marks the strongest collaboration yet between our two organizations, and is a monumental step in developing the fastest growing region in the world for commercial simulation and training,” said LeAnn Ridgeway, vice president and general manager of simulation and training solutions for Rockwell Collins.
