Japan Airlines (JAL) is adding the Gogo Vision service to its domestic fleet. The service allows passengers to rent movies and television shows and stream them in-flight to their own Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs).
Gogo first announced it would be providing its Ku-satellite connectivity service for JAL’s commercial fleet of 77 aircraft in October. JAL is the first airline in Japan to feature connected aircraft. The new service is scheduled to be available for passengers this summer.
