TransAsia Airways’ new fleet of Airbus A320s will feature Thales’s ACSS T3CAS1, the French aerospace manufacturer announced at the Singapore Airshow.
The Taiwan-based private carrier will add the system to a fleet of 18 new A320 family aircraft. According to Thales, the system was recently named the standard surveillance avionics suite by Airbus for its A320 family.
Along with the TCAS system, TransAsia is also equipping its new aircraft with the Thales TopFlight Flight Management System (FMS).
