[Avionics Today May 16, 2014] Wireless technology test solutions company Rohde & Schwarz has joined the M2M Alliance, the largest association representing the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) market, the company said.
Rohde & Schwarz is looking to use M2M to strengthen its commitment to M2M communications and the Internet of Things (IOT). Both of these are emerging technological concepts that aerospace and defense companies such as Wind River are incorporating into their next generation products.
"The advanced networking between people and machines and among machines themselves is completely changing our lives. M2M will soon make applications possible that we cannot even imagine today. It is opening up entirely new fields of application for our wireless test solutions," said Jorg Kopp, who managers the M2M market segment at Rohde & Schwarz.
