[Avionics Today 08-07-2014] The Atlantic City Airshow will take place on August 13, 2014 and is expected to draw nearly one million spectators. The air show, one of the largest in the United States, will feature GEICO Skytypers, a team of eight pilots who fly vintage World War II “pilot maker” training aircraft, most commonly known as the T-6 Texan or the Harvard. The plane is a vintage aircraft upgraded with modern avionics navigation systems.
