[Avionics Today 09-03-2014] JBT Aerotech, a technology services provider for air transportation, has been awarded an $11 million contract for ground support equipment from an unnamed U.S.-based ground services provider. Through the agreement, JBT will provide for the supply of Commander cargo loaders, Tempest aircraft deicing vehicles and Expediter towbarless tractors.
The equipment will support the customer’s business expansion at a major U.S. international airport, according to a statement released by the JBT Corporation. The company anticipates delivery of the equipment to be completed by year-end 2014.
