[Avionics Today 09-11-2014] The FlightView mobile app, a flight tracking app for iOS and Android that is already available in North America, has launched its iPhone travel app in the United Kingdom. The app aims to make it easier for travelers to track flights, manage trips and keep friends and family informed about their trip.
According to a statement released by FlightView, more than 3.3 million people in the United States and Canada have downloaded the app.
“The more informed a traveler is, the better the experience,” said Mike Benjamin, CEO of FlightView. “We strive to provide our mobile users with unparalleled access to travel and flight information — in a simple, easy-to-consume format — so their trips are smoother and more enjoyable.”
