[Avionics Today 11-7-2014] The FAA has issued new Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) to Gogo for the installation of its Ku-band satellite equipment on Boeing 757-200s and 767-400s operated by Delta Air Lines. Gogo expects to complete installations across Delta’s international fleet in 2016.

Gogo has now received five total STCs to install Ku-band satellite connectivity across Delta’s international commercial aircraft fleet. Previous STCs include Ku-band equipment approval for Delta’s Boeing 747-400s, 767-300s and Airbus A330s.

“This is another major milestone for Gogo and clears another hurdle in the process of outfitting Delta’s international fleet with Wi-Fi,” said Gogo President and CEO Michael Small.
