Sim-Industries Rebrands as Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training

[Avionics Today 01-27-2015] Sim-Industries, a commercial aviation training company acquired by Lockheed Martin in 2011, has changed its name to Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training (LMCFT).

Sandy Samuel, who previously served as vice president of operations for Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems & Global Solutions’ civil line of business, has been appointed to lead the organization as vice president and general manager.

LMCFT provides a suite of commercial aviation training products and services including full flight simulators for the Boeing 737, 767, 777, 787 and Airbus A320, A330/340. The business also operates international commercial aviation training centers based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Incheon, Korea.
