[Avionics Today 03-05-2015] Embraer saw fairly flat revenues in its 2014 earnings report at just under a 1 percent bump over 2013 earnings. The $6.3 billion in 2014 revenue was driven by 21.7 percent growth in the company’s defense and security segment. Embraer ended the year with total deliveries of 92 commercial and 116 executive aircraft.
The company expects similar earnings in 2015, according to the yearly outlook, with revenues expected to hit between $6.1 and $6.6 billion, driven by similar aircraft deliveries (95 to 100 jets in the commercial segment, and in the executive jets segment, 35 to 40 large jets and 80 to 90 light jets) and comparable growth in the defense and security division.
