[Avionics Today 03-23-2015] Airbus and SIA Engineering Company Limited (SIAEC) have entered into an agreement to provide maintenance and engineering training services for Airbus aircraft in Singapore.

Through this collaboration, aircraft engineering and maintenance group SIAEC, will deploy Airbus standards, dynamic tools and teaching techniques to provide aircraft-manufacturer-backed maintenance training capabilities to its personnel and to third party personnel in the region. Moreover, SIAEC Training Academy will be equipped with Airbus’ maintenance training devices and courseware for A320/A330, A380 and A350 aircraft types.
