[Avionics Today 04-16-2015] UTC Aerospace Systems has extended its Aircraft Data Management (ADM) solution to provide airlines with a way to track flights that the company claims can effectively report both position and aircraft health while en route.
The company’s aircraft health, flight tracking and position reporting system can integrate with a variety of communications providers selected by the customer, regardless of the communications channel. Both satcom or standard Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) channels are compatible with the system. The system is based on the UTC Aerospace Systems ADM Aircraft Interface Device (AID).
